Night Paving Work Set For This Week With Intersection Closures
ELIZABETHTOWN, Ky. (June 23, 2021) – Nightly paving begins this week on the US 31W segment from Ring Road, extending north in Elizabethtown. Kentucky Transportation Cabinet contract crews will have intersection closures (tonight) Wednesday night, June 23rd thru Saturday night, June 26th. Paving will take place between 9pm and 6am.
The following intersections will be affected:
- Ring Road
- Walmart Drive
- Starlite Center
- Starlite Drive / Towne Drive
- Childers Court
As stipulated in the project Maintenance of Traffic Plan, Ring Road and Walmart Drive will not be closed at the same time.
Motorists should exercise additional caution, continue paying close attention to signs and be prepared for changing traffic patterns and conditions.
